Acoustical Systems

background

Acoustical Systems from Germany was formed in 1998 and represents a new and modern way of looking at analog. While most of analog is based on reconfiguring existing ideas and technologies, Acoustical Systems instead starts over. In addition to a fresh look, Acoustical Systems also searches out new materials and manufacturing techniques that will by design also further the capabilities of analog. Listening to one of the fine Acoustical Systems products where even the foundations have been rethought will both prove rewarding and mind expanding.

At the foundation of the current products is the new The Axiom tonearm. This is a state of the art design that pushes the envelope in both design, manufacturing execution and materials selection. We know of no parallel to this revolutionary product.

The new Arché headshell allows someone with a detachable headshell tonearm to take advantage of some of the Axiom’s technology as does the SMARTractor for virtually all other turntable setups. Each of these products are designed to be not another same technology piece, but instead to bring an immediate improvement to your analog setup.
